Abstract

The bed-settee has a rigid frame with two rectangular frames, one vertically above the other, connected together at their ends by supports to one of which is attached a couch via a cross-strut of the frame, with feet at its free ends ending in pivotable rollers. A carrier connected with the vertical frame by the other support is above the couch, and is attached by a corresponding cross-strut to another couch who whose free end is also supported on feet, so that in the folded-together position the feet directly rest on the floor. The roller is supported on the lower couch which is supported directly by its feet. Construction is simpler and lighter.
