Classes 52(2) and 52(5) The head and foot frames 17 of a bed, together with the side and end bars 13, 11 of the mattress frame are constructed of disconnectible bars or tubes to facilitate transport and storage. The end pillars 18 may support a mosquito net frame also of disconnectable parts 31, 32, 38. The bars 13, 11 are furnished with projections 21 and slots 12 engaging complementary formations on lugs 19 on the pillars 18. Rails 22 of the head and foot frames engage the pillars 18 by spigots 23 or U-shaped members 25, vertical bars 26 engaging junction pieces 27 in the rails. Screw-threaded knobs 36 engaging spigots 35 hold the mosquito net frame in position.
