Abstract

A conveyor (5) leads to an opening (6), closed by pivoting doors (11) and supported by a framework (7, 8). The end of the conveyor pivots about an axis (12) in the opening and the frame pivots about an axis (10) at its bottom edge. A support carrying the conveyor (13) is pivoted at top and bottom (14, 15). To provide access to within the elevator column, for maintenance, etc., the framework is pivoted out of the opening in the front wall by pulling back the conveyor. The frame pivots about the axis (10) and the conveyor support folds backwards and downwards. The movement is limited by the top of the conveyor coming into contact with the top of the opening (6).
