Abstract

The mechanism is of the type comprising a support frame (1) carrying a swivel frame (4) with two box supports (8) arranged on either side of the swivel axis (6) each of which is capable of accommodating one or more fruit boxes, two box covers (17) which holds the boxes closed during the swivel movement of the frame (4), and a discharge chute. Each cover is removed from its support (8) when the box is in an upside down position by the downward movement of the cover relative to the support. The discharge chute can be swivelled from a discharge position, when it connects with the lowered cover, to another position in which it allows the support to pass when the frame (4) swivels downwards.
