Abstract

The container is of the conventional sort with the flint, spring and abrasive wheel located on top. The valve (11) also acts as a filling valve. The filling tube fits over the outside of the valve. There is a fork inside the filling tube, that rests on the lighter valve. The liquified gas passes round the outside of the valve into the reservoir. When the lighter is full the valve is pressed home into its socket by the fork. The filling tube and fork are then removed. The valve requires no other means of fixing inside the lighter.
