Abstract

The frame is generally rectangular with four square section corner uprights connected by channel section transverse arms at the top and bottom. The arms are upwardly opening channels whose outer arms are extending upwardly and bent over to form a smooth lip. The ends of the outer arms are connected by right angle bends to projecting tongues which are slotted into the ends of the posts and engage inner corner surfaces of the posts. Circular section heads are force fitted into the ends of the posts and lock the tongues against the corner surfaces. The heads have square section tops which conform to the shape of the posts and form bumpers.
