Abstract

The drawer (1) is made from sheet steel and formed to give an outward projecting portion (2) on each side. Each has a flat bottom, a straight vertical outer side and a narrow flat rim on top ending in a down facing vertical flange (7). The racking element (4) is a bar moulded from plastic and having a rectangular cross section. Square openings (5) are provided at intervals along the top face, the bottom having tenons engaging holes (3) in each drawer side. Lugs (6) are moulded along one side, these clipping under the steel drawer flange. The dividers, or suspended files (9), locate in the square openings.
