Abstract

The upright (1) is a U shaped metal strip, its bottom pierced with slots at intervals along its length. These are used to locate adjustable height shelving brackets (16). Holes are provided for fixing screws. Each leg (6) fits tightly in a deep recess in a metal or plastic extruded profile section (7). This has two different sized shapes (17, 18) side by side, with their bottom faces (11) forming the recess and their open faces outwards. The fixing screws for the upright also secure these profile sections, which form locations for the side edges of the back panelling (15). Two thicknesses of panelling may be used.
