Abstract

The gear lever which is manoeuvrable round two axes, one above the other, is connected with two locking elements which are only manoeuvrable round one axis. The ends of the locking elements engage with notches in the selector forks or the rods. The straight rod of the lever has a ball end engageable in the selector fork, and pivots on a pin also mounted for movement in a hinged block. The block has a pair of bent arms which protrude down to control movement of the selector fork.
