Abstract

The transverse stiffening bars are of a length corresp. to that of the caravan body. The frame formed by the two parallel longitudinal beams and the trans. bars replaces the support frame of the caravan. At least one of the transverse bars is offset in the vertical plane near is connection to the longitudinal beams. In this way a flush support surface is formed by the upper surfaces of the beams and bars. The rubber suspension axis is located between the two parallel bars. The longitudinal beams can be formed as two parts connected in series by a flange coupling.
