Abstract

The absorbent pad of a disposable nappy, is firmly attached to an underlying plastic lining sheet, so that it does not tend to ride up at the ends. The pad, e.g. of cotton wool is covered by an absorbent lint sheet, which does not extend to the edges of the plastic sheet so that leakage may be prevented, e.g. by folding edges of plastic over absorbents. The nappy is held in place by tapes at the ends of the plastic sheet.
