Abstract

A bed spread, or cover, for day and night use. It remains in place and its top is folded back when the bed is used. On each side are fitted pockets to hold books, medicines, etc. The cover has a top (1), fitted sides (2) and one end, held in place by two elasticated cords (6, 7) stretched behind the head end. At this end, also, are the pockets (3), one each side. The top has a fitted flap (5) which, when not in use, is fastened to cover the pillows. When the bed is required, the flap is folded back. The edges of the fitted flap are secured to the sides using zip fasteners, one at each side of the bed. The sides have projecting upper flaps to accommodate the pillows.
