Abstract

A yarn texturing assembly comprises pref. a creel and yarn take-up devices on one side of a platform (for an operative) and yarn texturing elements on the opposite side of the platform. Yarn passes from the creel under the platform to a first feed roll assembly and over a first heater to a false twist bush where it is textured, and the textured yarn passes through a second feed roll assembly and through a channel in a second heater to a third feed roll assembly from where it is advanced to the take-up device. A pneumatic feed device is provided for advancing the yarn through the guide channel in the second heater and through the third delivery roll assembly to the take-up device. Threading up of the yarn through the various elements above the platform is made simpler for an operative standing on the platform.
