Cpds. of formula (I): (where A is O or ethylene; X1 and X2 are H or halogen; R1 is H or lower alkyl; R2 is lower alkylene; and R3 is lower alkyl or aryl opt. subst. by 1-3 lower alkoxy groups) and their acid addition salts which are useful in the treatment of Parkinsonism, are prepared by reacting compounds of formula (II) or their salts with carboxylic acids of the formula R3COOH or their reactive functional derivatives.
