Abstract

Paper pulp stock in fibrous condition which is preheated to a temp of up to 170 degrees C is disintegrated in a rotary disintegrator and the fibrous stock prior to disintegration is subjected to a lower pressure than that of preheating but higher than atm pressure to allow the moisture to escape from the fibrous material.
