Abstract

Bacterial concentrate for improving soil fertility, comprises a mixt. of the following soil microorganisms. Actinomyces, Rhizobium and Azotobacter chroococcum, strains of these organisms being chosen which improve fertility and which are resistant to external influences. Pref. concentrate contains at least 109 cells/cc. of both Rhizobium and Actinomyces. Suitable Actinomyces are A. chromogenes, A. griseus and A. albus; the Rhizobium strains are pref. those isolate from lucerne or red clover.
