Abstract

Motor vehicle pneumatic tyres are vulcanised in a split mould by placing a vulcanised or unvulcanised carcass with provisionally attached tread section to the outer tyre periphery into the cavity of the split mould which is hermetically sealed introducing heated compressed gas into the cavity, circulating the heated gas using a blower and vulcanising the tyre by supplying heat through the inner wall of the tyre. Inflatable bah is dispensed with and heat distribution is more uniform.
