Abstract

Thermoformed pack comprising >=1 depressions in a thermoformed tray to be covered by a sealed sheet, where eac depression is lined with a strip having an exposed pull tab allowing the strip to lift the contents from the depression. Pref. the tray provides small platforms with minor depressions adjacent to each cavity so that the pull tab can be readily gripped. Pref. each minor depression serves two adjacent tabs. The lining strip may be flexible or rigid, may be continuous for several cavities. Suitable for packaging non-rigid materials, viz pastes or creams such as soft cheese or butter. The liner strip may be ofaluminium foil or small rigid plastic components.
