Abstract

The device, for introduction of shaped, fermented, ready to bake pieces of dough into a tunnel baking oven, consists of a first conveyor which receives the pieces of dough for forming into loaves, and a second conveyor for extracting the plates carrying the dough, from the first conveyor to discharge the pieces on to an internal conveyor which passes through the length of the oven tunnel. The first conveyor can be fed by another conveyor of similar construction placed alongside. When the plates descend on the first conveyor their catch-pins enter an oblique guide rail; this progressively withdraws the plate until in its disengaged position, it is at the level of the second conveyor. Below this level, another guide rail, inclined in the opposite direction, serves for the re-entry of the empty plates into the conveyor.
