Abstract

1338394 Feeding and inverting biscuits ASSOCIATED BISCUITS Ltd 30 April 1971 [1 May 1970] 21024/70 Heading A2A [Also in Division B8] Biscuits 3, Fig. 1, are fed one at a time from the bottom of a stack in a hopper 2 by an endless conveyor 11, to a shoot 23 in which they are inverted. A biscuit 3b is shown arrested by a finger 21 of the conveyor 11 and remains in the position shown until pushed along by the next finger 21. At the end of the portion 34 of the shoot the biscuit is pushed along by a finger 36 on a conveyor chain 35. The conveyor 11 may comprise a single chain instead of a pair of chains as shown.
