Title derivs. of formula (I): (where R1 is H, lower alkyl or allyl; R2 and R3 are H or lower alkyl, or R2+R3 is -(CH2)n- in which n is 2-6, and R4 is H or lower alkyl) and their tautomeric forms and metal salts are prepd. by reacting a cpd. of formula (II): (where A is -NHR1 or lower alkoxy or allyloxy) with thiourea or ammonium thiocyanate and opt. treating the resulting (I; R4=H) with an alkylating agent to give (I; R4 = lower alkyl).
