Abstract

The plastic film, covering one layer of the two-layer fabric, is applied as a skin to carry the suspension of thermally-conductive pigments, encapsulate the trellis strips of copper wire as the heating elements, and act as an electrical insulator. The pigments ensure an even heat distribution over the fabric, and there is no external evidence of the presence of heating elements.
