Abstract

Alloy readily dissolving in molten steel contains 5-8 wt.% Al, 3-5 wt.% V, 2 wt. % of C, Si, Mn, and Fe, the remainder being Ti. It is more convenient in use than Ti sponge, or ferrotitanium normally used as additives for steel.
