Abstract

The surface used for the thermal fixing of a toner image on a flexible support in a xerographic process by pressing the support against the heated surface, is coated with a copolymer of hexafluoro propylene and tetralfuoroethylene and a layer of a anti-staining liquid is maintained on the copolymer layer. The liquid is a perfluoroalkyl polyether and prevents adhesion of the toner particles to the surface.
