CONSTITUTION:A heat roller 1 having the silicone rubber surface is turned along with a pressure roller 2. A copy material C on which a developed image T is formed is fed between the rollers 1 and 2. Then the image T is fused on the material C by the roller 1 and the heat given from a heat source 3. A cleaning member 4 is attached on the surface of the roller 1 to delete an oxidized film, etc. The member 4 is attached to a support member 41 and then pressed onto the surface of the roller by the force of a spring 42, etc. Thus the oxidized film formed on the roller surface is eliminated. In such way, the good fixing performance is maintained, and furthermore the winding trouble of the copy material round the heat roller can be avoided.
