Abstract

PURPOSE:To heat a photosensitive drum uniformly, by constituting a silicone rubber insulation type surfacing heater having a projection on one end into a cylindrical shape having slightly larger outer diameter than the inner diameter of the photosensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:A drum heater 1 is a silicone rubber insulation type surfacing heater formed cylindrically and one end is provided with a projection 2 for removal. The outer diameter of this drum heater 1 is formed slightly greater than the drum inner diameter to adhere the drum heater in the drum inner surface through the use of repulsion force of rubber to be set in the photosensitive drum. Thus, in comparioson with conventional flat plate heaters, the adhesion with the photosensitive drum is improved and no gap is caused at the ends, allowing to heat up the photosensitive drum uniformly.
