Abstract
Condenser consists of an outer envelope and an inner flexide pipe coaxial with it, the envelope and inner pipe being wound into a helical shape with inlet and outlet sections projecting from its ends, the helix being of cylindrical, opt. flattened, shape. The outer wall of the inner pipe pref. has two helical tubes wound on to it. Heat transfer is maximised, while pressure drop is low.
