Abstract
A housing is provided with a mantle. Tubes are arranged parallel to the longitudinal axis of the housing. One end is connected to a distributing conduit and the other to a collecting conduit. A first medium is fed through an inlet into the housing, and is guided by partition walls and deflected. A second medium flows through the distributing conduits, tubes and collecting conduits. Part of the housing has a double jacket. An inner wall of the inlet penetrates an intermediate space of the double jacket. An outlet of the collecting conduits penetrates the double jacket. The intermediate space communicates with the housing at two open positions. The first medium enters the intermediate space and flows through collecting tubes and a connecting conduit and is introduced into an inner space of the housing.
