Abstract

A one-piece rotationally moulded thermoplastic tank is formed integrally with at least two hollow supports which are joined together by metal rods. Metal tie rods are provided joining the hollow supports at about half the height of the tank, and may have hooks at their ends. The width of the supports is about the same as the distance between them. Outlets are provided in two mutually perpendicular surfaces for flexibility of discharge. Lightweight tanks and cisterns of large capacity may be directly lifted by cranes and fork trucks without using straps or palettes.
