Abstract

Firearm cartridges with cases that are designed to be expelled from the muzzle of the firearm along with the projectile. The cartridge has a plastic body which has two open ends separated by a narrow web. One of the open ends is formed to hold the projectile while the other holds the propellent. The propellent chamber is closed by a solid moulded primer. The plastic is pref. polycarbonate or polyethylene. This cartridge is lighter and cheaper than metal cartridges and will not jam. It is sfer, more durable, and easier to use than caseless ammunition.
