Abstract

Cryogenic filling valve for filling compressed gas bottles by allowing or causing the liquefied gas to evaporate so as to establish the necessary pressure in the bottle, comprising a gas-tight body attached to the inlet of a gas bottle, a first passage extending through the body and incorporating a probe permitting the passage of liquid into and evaporation within the bottle, a first closure element for opening and closing the first passage, a second passage extending through the body for drawing off gas from the bottle and a second closure element for regulating the flow velocity of gas passing through the second passage.
