Abstract

Production is carried out from a continuous sheet by first folding the sheet so that section covers the other leaving a projecting edge which is coated with pressure-sensitive adhesive, drying it, applying a removable strip to the adhesive coated surface, welding the sheets along lines perpendicular to the length of the sheet and cutting the product into bags, the fold being capable of re-sealing on the individual bags. The process allows the continuous production of re-sealable bags.
