Abstract

Core is of synthetics and envelope is natural or synthetic leather. The inner wall of the heel mould cavity is covered with an envelope of a material different from that of the core; then synthetics is injected, giving a good bond between envelope and core. Pref. the inner face of the envelope is coated with neoprene glue, then a binder layer is deposited on it and contains plastics dissolved in a solvent, to give a good bond with the injected material.
