Abstract

In a heat-exchanger described in FR appln. no. 6912866 (esp. one gas heated by nuclear energy) a closed container, with inlet and outlet for L.P. gas, encloses two H.P. tube systems fed from separate inlets and connected to a common tubular (cylindrical) collector. Alternatively the two separated flows circulate within H.P. tube systems inside separate containers a connected at their L.P. sides by a duct at the same temp. as the containers. The tube systems are pref. wound helically round the axis of the container and several of the tubes open into an intermediate collector pipe connected to the main collector, and the bundles of tubes are pref. placed one above the other.
