Claims (4)

1. Förfarande för framställning av klordioxid genom reaktion i ett reaktionskärl av ett alkalimetallklorat, en mineralsyra och metanol som reduktionsmedel i sädana proportioner att klordioxid bildas i ett reaktionsmedium som hälls vid en temperatur frän ca 50°C tili ca 100°C och en aciditet inom intervallet fr&n ca 2 tili ca 4,8 och som utsätts för undertryck som är tillräckligt för att föränga vatten, varvid en blandning av klordioxid och vattenänga uttages fr&n en förängningszon i reaktions-kärlet och ett alkalimetallsalt av mineralsyran utfälles i en kristallisationszon i reaktionskärlet, känneteckn&t därav, att reaktionen utföres i närvaro av en katalysator vilken utgöres av en eller en kombination av tvä eller flera metaller valda ur gruppen, antimon, molybden, tek-netium, rutenium, rodium, palladium, rhenium, osmium, iridium, platina, eller en kombination av en eller flera av dessa med mangan eller vanadin.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att katalysatorn utgöres av en kombination av palladium och antimon, palladium och mangan eller palladium och molybden. •
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att katalysatorn utgöres av en kombination av antimon och molybden, antimon och vanadin eller molybden och vanadin.
4. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, . att katalysatorn tillsätts i form av en lösning av lös- liga salter eller komplex i en sädan mängd att koncentra-tionen i reaktiosmediet blir 0,001 tili 10 mM.
