Claims (7)

1. En videokoder, som innefattar: utveckligsmedel (1 - 29) för utveckling av informationer frän en med varierande hastighet kommande videosignal; kodningsmedel (31) med varierande dimension för kodning av informationen genom användning av en kod med varierande dimension som en serie kodade ord; en buffert (30) mellan utvecklingsmedlen (1 - 29) och kodnings-medlen (31) med varierande dimensio; kännetecknad därav, att till kodern hör räknemedel (35-38) för att räkna det totala antalet av längderna hos de kodade ord, som med tillhjälp av kodningsmedlen (31) med varierande dimension pro-duceras frän buffertens (30) momentana innehäll,
2. Videokoder enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknad därav, att till räknemedlen (35-38) hör medel (35) för att för respektive till bufferten (30) matade dataenhet bestämma läng-den hos det motsvarande kodade ordet i enlighet med kodningen med varierande dimension, ackumuleringsmedel (36) för att ackumulera de sälunda bestämda längdernas totalvärde, och sub-traktionsmedel (38) för att frän detta totalvärde subtrahera totalvärdet för de frän bufferten (30) avlästa, dataenheterna motsvarande ordlängderna.
3. Videokoder enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknad därav, att därtill hör styrmedel (29) anordnade att i bufferten (30), tillsammans med dataenheten, lagra totalvärdet för de sälunda bestämda längderna, och frän bufferten (30) avläsa detta totalvärde, dä dataenheten avläses, medan totalvärdet som skall subtraheras medels denna anordnas i subtraktionsmedlen (38).
4. Vidokoder enligt nägot av de ovan anförda kraven, kännetecknad därav, att det sä bestämda totalvärdet för längderna medels videokodern överföres som ett tilläggsdata. 91474 17
5. Videokoder enligt nägot av de ovan anförda kraven, k ä n -netecknad därav, att de sälunda bestämda längdernas totalvärde användes för att styra utvecklingsmedlen (1-29) att variera videosignalens datahastighet.
6. Videokoder enligt nagot av de ovan anförda kraven, k ä n -netecknad därav, att därtill dessutom hör: första kodningsmedel (1-14) att för avsnitten av bildelement i bilden som skall kodas, utveckla dessa elements tillständ indi-kerande bilddata. andra kodningsmedel (25) att utveckla en tilläggsinformation angaende bildelementens avsnitt och/eller grupper av avsnitt, varvid tilläggsinformationerna innehaller information over den av de första kodningsmedlen (1-14) använda kodningens natur; första tilläggsbuffertminne (21) för lagring av bilddata; andra tilläggsbuffertminne (22) för lagring av tilläggsdata; medel för tillförsel av flaggor i det första och andra tilläggsbuf fertminnet (21,22); och medel för avläsning av data valbart antingen fran första tilläggsbuf f erten (21) eller andra tilläggsbufferten (22) för in-skrivning i bufferten (30), varvid läsmedlen reagerar för upp-trädandet av en flagga i det läsbara tilläggsbuffertminnet (21,22) för att avsluta läsning frän detta minne (21,22) och pabörja läsning fran det andra minnet (22, 21) sa att önskad bild och sekvens av tilläggsdata erhalles.
7. Videokoder, vilken inkluderar; - medel (1-19) att generera data fran en med varierande hastig-het kommande videosignal, - kodningsmedel (31) med varierande dimension för kodning av data genom användning av en kod med varierande dimension, - - buffert (30) för att astadkomma länkning med en data med konstant hastighet avgivande utgang, - styrmedel (29) för styrning av datans läsning fran bufferten (30) , 91474 18 kännetecknad därav, att bufferten (30) föregar kod-ningsmedlen (31) med varierande dimensioner och att styrmedlen (29) anordnats att fran bufferten med sadan hastighet avläsa, att den kodade datans hastighet är konstant. • · • ·
