Abstract

A disposable pallet comprises a base plate (1) of corrugated cardboard and a plurality of block-shaped feet (2) situated on the bottom side of the base plate (1). Each block-shaped foot (2) is made of a strong corrugated cardboard and is substantially solid, said foot comprising a substantially planar laminate including at least ten layers (3a, 3b, 3c, ..) of corrugated cardboard situated substantially perpendicular to the base plate (1). Compared to the main dimension (H) of the base plate (1) the block-shaped foot (2) is of a relatively small height (h), i.e. 1,5 to 3,5 per cent of "H". A typical range of values for "h" is 15-35 mm. The pallet is very simple and strong and furthermore very inexpensive.

LastauspalliA pallet

The invention relates mainly to a disposable loading ball, which is constructed of a carrier plate made of corrugated cardboard and of several foot blocks placed on the underside of the carrier plate, which are also corrugated cardboard. More specifically, the invention relates to a loading ball, mainly disposable and constructed of a carrier plate of corrugated cardboard, and a plurality of foot blocks arranged on the underside of the corrugated board, which are made of strong corrugated board and substantially massive, each of which consists of at least ten the corrugated cardboard layer is positioned at a substantially right angle to the carrier floor and that in at least a portion of the corrugated board layer the small channels in each football extend at a substantially right angle to the carrier floor.

Laatikkomaisilla kappaleilla on ulkonevat aaltopahvilius-25 kat, joiden avulla kappaleet on kiinnitetty pallin kanto-laatan alasivuun. Mainitut liuskan on nimittäin viety ylös kantolaatan rakojen kautta ja taitettu kantolaatan yläsi-vulle. Tämän lisäksi jalkapalikat ovat melko korkeat. Tämä lastauspalli ei toimi täysin tyydyttävästi kahden mainitun 30 seikan johdosta, koska suuri sisäinen ontelo jalkapalikas-sa johtaa siihen, että viimeksi mainittu on melko heikko. It has long been known to make loading balls out of 20 corrugated cardboard. Thus, U.S. Pat. No. 3,763,791 discloses a loading ball, the legs of which consist of small, box-shaped pieces of corrugated cardboard with two layers of corrugated cardboard on the walls. The box-like pieces have protruding corrugated cardboard strips 25 that allow the pieces to be attached to the underside of the bale carrier plate. Namely, said strip is led up through the slots of the carrier plate and folded onto the top side of the carrier plate. In addition to this, the foot blocks are quite tall. This loading ball does not work completely satisfactorily due to the two mentioned 30 factors, because the large internal cavity in the foot piece results in the latter being rather weak.

The fact that the foot blocks are quite high means that they, when the loading ball is standing on the ground and loaded with goods, can relatively easily detach from the carrier plate if the latter are subjected to 2 horizontal forces. Finally, the disadvantage is that the structure of this loading ball is quite complex.

The object of the invention is to develop a loading ball which is of the above-mentioned species, which has a simpler and stronger structure than hitherto known and which is also very compact.

Kompakti rakenne on hyvin tärkeä, jotta useat las-tauspallit niiden päälle pinottujen tavaroiden kanssa voidaan pinoa päällekkäin pienissä tiloissa, esim. konttiin 10 tai lastausvaunuun, tilaa maksimaalisesti hyödyntäen (ilmaa on oltava mahdollisimman vähän) ja tämä kompakti rakenne on varmistettava samalla kun on mahdollista helposti käsitellä lastauspalleja varmasti haarukkatrukilla. The compact design is very important so that several loading pallets with the goods stacked on top of them can be stacked on top of each other in small spaces, eg a container 10 or a loading wagon, making maximum use of space (minimal air) and ensuring this compact handle loading balls securely with a forklift.

The loading ball according to the invention is characterized in that the height of the foot blocks is about 15 to 35 mm, that the weight of the corrugated board 2 included in the foot block laminate is 140 to 180 g / m, and that the foot blocks are glued directly to the carrier plate with a one-component latex adhesive. This ensures that the loading ball is very simple and strong and also very cheap. The intensity is due to the fact that the interior of the foot blocks is not weak. It is not enough to make a block of foot from a laminate with few layers of corrugated board. At least ten layers are required. Because the foot blocks are very low (due to the large number of 25 layers of corrugated board) and very wide, there is no risk of them tearing off when the loading ball is loaded laterally after the goods have been loaded on it. In addition, the loading balloon is very well suited for transporting goods in containers or wagon loading-30 spaces, where the space must be utilized to the maximum, and at the same time it is desirable that the loading bales can be loaded and unloaded with a forklift. Due to the very simple structure of the loading ball, it is very cheap. Sometimes it can be thrown away after use, so that it is used only once.

Keksinnön mukaisen lastauspallin suositeltavat suoritusmuodot on esitetty oheistetuissa patenttivaatimuksissa 2 - 6.Preferred embodiments of a loading ball according to the invention are set out in the appended claims 2 to 6.

Keksinnön mukaisen lastauspallin jalkapalikoiden 5 laminaatissa käytetty aaltopahvi on edullisesti tyyppiä "yksipuolinen aaltopahvi", jonka paino on mieluiten 160 g/m3. Tällöin saadaan lastauspallille riittävän suuri lujuus. The corrugated board used in the laminate of the foot blocks 5 of the loading ball according to the invention is preferably of the "single-sided corrugated board" type, preferably weighing 160 g / m 3. In this case, a sufficiently high strength is obtained for the loading ball.

Keksinnön mukaisesti voidaan lisäksi ainakin osa 10 lastauspallista, lähinnä jalkapalikat, pinnoittaa ja/tal kyllästää vettä hylkivällä aineella, esim. vahalla tai muoviaineella, jolloin lastauspalli saadaan hyvin helpolla tavalla vahvemmaksi, vaikka se joutuisi alttiiksi kosteudelle, koska kosteus ei voi heikentää jalkapalikoita.According to the invention, at least some of the loading balls 10, mainly the foot blocks, can be coated and / or impregnated with a water-repellent substance, e.g. wax or plastic, so that the loading ball is very easily strengthened even if exposed to moisture, as moisture cannot weaken the foot blocks.

15 Keksinnön mukaisten jalkapalikoiden laminaatti voi sisältää yhden tai useat hyvin ohuet kerrokset vaahtomuovia, lähinnä polyvinyylikloridia, jolloin jalkapalikka vahvistuu huomattavasti. The laminate of the foot blocks according to the invention may contain one or more very thin layers of foam, mainly polyvinyl chloride, whereby the foot block is considerably strengthened.

Kun laminaatista tehdyt jalkapalikat liimataan 20 kiinni kantolaattaan yksikomponentti-lateksiliimalla, las tauspallin valmistusaika lyhenee. Kun pienet kanavat jal-kapalikan aaltopahvikerroksessa ulottuvat suorassa kulmassa suhteessa kantolaattaan, palikan kantokyky suurenee. When the foot blocks made of laminate are glued to the carrier plate 20 with a one-component latex adhesive, the manufacturing time of the loading ball is shortened. When the small channels in the corrugated cardboard layer of the foot block extend at right angles to the carrier plate, the load-bearing capacity of the block increases.

Mainittujen pienten kanavien suurin poikkileikkauskoko on n. 4 - 5 mm.In addition, according to the invention, the underside of the foot pieces can be covered with a cover layer, e.g. paperboard or corrugated board, which ensures that water is not absorbed by capillary action into the small channels of the vertical corrugated cardboard layers. The maximum cross-sectional size of said small channels is about 4 to 5 mm.

In addition, according to the invention, one or more thin metal slabs may extend around a single leg piece to hold the layers of corrugated board together as they are loaded. This prevents the corrugated cardboard layer of the foot block from being squeezed out to the side under large vertical loads. This therefore strengthens the foot blocks considerably.

44

Lopuksi aaltopahvikerrokset jalkapalikassa voivat olla ristiin asetettuja, jolloin pienet kanavat aaltopah-vikerroksessa ovat lähinnä suorassa kulmassa suhteessa viereisen aaltopahvikerroksen pieniin kanaviin. Finally, the corrugated layers in the foot block may be cross-arranged, with the small channels in the corrugated layer being substantially at right angles to the small channels in the adjacent corrugated layer.

5 Keksintöä selitetään seuraavassa viitaten piirus tukseen, jossa: kuvio 1 esittää perspektiivikuvantoa keksinnön mukaisesta lastauspallista näyttäen selvästi, kuinka las-tauspallin hyvin matalat jalkapalikat on sijoitettu las-10 tauspallin kantolaatan alasivulle; kuvio 2 esittää kuvantoa vinosti alhaalta jalkapa-likasta; kuvio 3 esittää kuvantoa jalkapalikan toisesta toteutusmuodosta, jossa aaltopahvikerrosten välissä on vaah-15 tomuovikerros; kuvio 4 esittää kuvantoa jalkapalikan toisesta toteutusmuodosta, jossa jalkapalikan alasivulla on vaakasuora aaltopahvikerros; kuvio 5 esittää kuvantoa jalkapalikan toisesta to-20 teutusmuodosta, johon on pantu yksi tai useita ympäri ulottuvia metallilankoja monien aaltopahvikerrosten pitämiseksi koossa ja niiden vahvistamiseksi; ja kuvio 6 esittää kuvantoa jalkapalikasta, jossa on ristiin asetettuja aaltopahvikerroksia. The invention will now be described with reference to the drawing, in which: Figure 1 shows a perspective view of a loading ball according to the invention, clearly showing how the very low foot blocks of the loading ball are arranged on the underside of the loading ball carrier plate; Fig. 2 shows an oblique bottom view of the footbed; Fig. 3 shows a view of a second embodiment of a foot block with a foam layer between the corrugated cardboard layers; Fig. 4 shows a view of another embodiment of a foot block with a horizontal corrugated cardboard layer on the underside of the foot block; Fig. 5 is a view of another embodiment of a foot block in which one or more circumferential metal wires are embedded to hold and reinforce a plurality of layers of corrugated board; and Figure 6 shows a view of a foot block with crossed corrugated cardboard layers.

Käytetty aaltopahvi on voimakasta tyyppiä. The loading ball shown in Figure 1, which is essentially a disposable ball, consists of a carrier plate 1, which is corrugated cardboard, and several foot blocks 2 placed on the underside of the carrier plate. The latter are also corrugated cardboard. The carrier plate 1 preferably consists of a horizontal layer of corrugated board, but it may very well consist of two or three such layers. According to Figure 2, the individual foot block 2 consists essentially of a flat laminate with at least ten corrugated layers 3a, 3b, 3c ..., the corrugated layers 35 being substantially at right angles to the carrier plate 91233 5 1. As can be seen, the foot block is mainly massive because inside there is no large cavity. The corrugated board used is of a strong type. The height h of the footrest is relatively small compared to the main dimension H of the loading pallet and is in the range of 15 to 35 mm. The foot block is thus very low, which is an important advantage, because the ball and the goods stacked on it must take up as little space as possible when it is placed, for example, in a container or in the loading space of a wagon. However, the foot blocks must be 10 just so high that the fork of the forklift can be inserted under the loading ball to lift and handle it.

Tavallisesti käytetty aaltopahvi on tyyppiä "yksipuolinen aaltopahvi", jonka paino on alueella 140 - 180 15 g/m2, mieluiten 160 g/m2.The corrugated board usually used is of the "single-sided corrugated board" type, weighing in the range of 140 to 180 g / m 2, preferably 160 g / m 2.

In order to increase the moisture resistance of the foot blocks, a water-repellent substance, e.g. a wax or a plastic substance, mainly polyvinyl chloride, can be coated and / or impregnated.

20 Kuten kuvio 3 näyttää, voi jalkapalikan 2 aaltopah vi laminaat ti sisältää yhden tai useampia hyvin ohuita vaahtomuovikerroksia, kuten esim. näytetään kohdissa 4a, 4b ja 4c. Nämä kerrokset toimivat toisaalta sulkukerrok-sina, toisaalta ne lisäävät jalkapalikan paineenkestävyyt-25 tä.As shown in Fig. 3, the corrugated cardboard laminates of the foot block 2 may include one or more very thin layers of foam, as shown, for example, in 4a, 4b and 4c. These layers, on the one hand, act as barrier layers and, on the other hand, increase the pressure resistance of the foot block.

Yksittäinen jalkapalikka 2 on mieluiten liimattu kiinni kantolaattaan 1 yksikomponentti-lateksikalvolla.The individual foot block 2 is preferably glued to the carrier plate 1 with a one-component latex film.

Kuten on mainittu, näyttää kuvio 2 jalkapalikan nähtynä vinosti alhaalta. Siitä huomaa, että pienet kanavat 5a, 30 5b, 5c yksittäisessä aaltopahvikerroksessa ulottuvat mie luiten suorassa kulmassa suhteessa kantolaattaan 1.As mentioned, Figure 2 shows the foot block seen obliquely from below. It will be appreciated that the small channels 5a, 30b, 5c in a single layer of corrugated board preferably extend at right angles to the carrier plate 1.

Kuvion 4 mukaisesti voidaan yksittäisen jalkapalikan 2 alasivu peittää peitekerroksella 6, joka on esim. paperikartonkia tai aaltopahvia. Tämä estää tietyssä mää-35 rin kosteutta tulemasta Imetyksi ylös palikan pieniin ka naviin 5a, 5b, 5c (ks. kuviota 2).According to Figure 4, the underside of the individual foot block 2 can be covered with a cover layer 6, which is e.g. paperboard or corrugated cardboard. This prevents a certain amount of moisture from becoming sucked up into the small channels 5a, 5b, 5c of the block (see Figure 2).

66

Täten, kuten kuvio 6 näyttää, voivat aal-topahvikerrokset palikassa 2 olla rlstlinasetettuja, jolloin pienet kanavat 10a, 10b, 10c kerroksessa 10 ovat pää-10 asiallisesti suorassa kulmassa suhteessa kerroksen 11 pieniin kanaviin 11a, 11b.As shown in Figure 5, one or more thin metal wires 8 ', 8 "may extend around the foot block 2 to increase the pressure resistance of the foot block. The metal wires may also extend between two successive layers of corrugated board inside the foot block. The invention can be modified in many ways without departing from it. Thus, as shown in Fig. 6, the corrugated layers in the block 2 may be lined, the small channels 10a, 10b, 10c in the layer 10 being at a substantially right angle to the small channels 11a, 11b of the layer 11.
