Claims (7)
1. Industriellt förfarande för framställning av polyoler, speciellt erytritol och ribitol, genom aerob 5 fermentering av ett lämpligt socker med svampen Moniliella tomentosa var. pollinis, kännetecknat därav, att fermentationsmediet innehäller xantangummi.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att xantangummit är närvarande 1 en 10 mängd av 100-500 ppm i fermentationsmediet.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att ett sedvanligt anti-skummedel även tillsätts i fermentationsmediet.
4. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-3, 15 kännetecknat därav, att luftströmningen är 0,1-1,5 liter/liter fermentationsmedium/minut.
5. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-4, kännetecknat därav, att sockret är dextros.
6. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-5, 20 kännetecknat därav, att sockret är närvarande i fermentationslösningen vid början av fermenter!ngen 1 en mängd av 20-45 %.
7. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkraven 1-6, kännetecknat därav, att pH vid början av fer- : 1 25 menteringen regleras tili 3-6, företrädesvis 4-5. m t # » · * » # * · 1
