Claims (2)

1. Förfarande för kontinuerlig framställning av alkoholer innehällande 1-5 kolatomer genom spjälkning av 5 etrar med den allmänna formeln R - O - Rj väri R och R1 betecknar en alkylgrupp med 1-5 kolatomer, 10 eller en blandning av dylika etrar i närvaro av en sur hydratiseringskatalysator, säsom en sur, organisk jonbyta-re av sulfonsyratyp, med vatten i överskott vid en tempe-ratur av 100-180 °C och ett tryck av 10-100 bar, och retur-nering av icke-reagerad eter, kännetecknat 15 därav, att förfarandet utförs i vätskefas vid ett vatten: eter-molförhällande över 10:1 beräknat pä matningsström-men, frän reaktorn avlägsnas en eter/alkohol-fas och en vatten/alkohol-fas, eterfasen returneras för cirkulation och alkoholen utvinns frän den vattenhaltiga fasen pä i 20 och för sig känt sätt.
