Keksinnön kohteena on laite putken muodostamiseksi jatkuvasta metal-likalvonauhasta, joka on päällystetty lämpöplastillisella kestomuo-viaineella, jossa laitteessa on elimet nauhan sovittamiseksi jatkuvasti putkimuotoon tuurnan ympäri, jossa tuurnassa on tanko, joka sijaitsee tuurnassa pitkin sen vaippaviivaa ja joka tanko on magnetoituvaa ainetta, sekä jossa laitteessa on induktiokuumennuslaite vaippa-pinnan yläpuolella. Tällaisia putkia käytetään erityisesti hammastahnan pakkaukseen, mutta myös moneen muuhun käyttöön, mausteiden ja liimojen pakkaukseen jne.
Ennestään on tunnettua, mm. patenttijulkaisusta CH 463 088, valmistaa tällaisia putkia taivuttamalla jatkuvasti syötetty nauha asteittain niin, että reunat peittävät toisensa limittäin, jolloin limittyvät reunat kuljetetaan kahden tönkän välistä, joita kumpaakin kuumennetaan sähkövastuksella. Tämä menetelmä on hidas ja hankala, koska laitteistoon kuuluu huomattava lämmönsäteilijä, jolloin nauhaa on syötettävä hitaasti, jotta varmistettaisiin riittävä lämmön siirto rajapintaan. Esillä olevan keksinnön tarkoituksena on sen tähden poistaa tällaisten lämnön lähteiden tarve ja suurentaa yhdistettävän putken syöt-tönopeutta.
2 72060 Tähän asti käytetyissä tuumissa kuumat tuumat koskettavat vastakkaisia limipin-toja uiko- ja sisäpinnoilta käsin sanalla tavoin kuin kaksi arkkia puristetaan kuumien pihtien väliin. Sulamisen ja sitomisen on kuitenkin tapahduttava muovipinnoissa, jotka koskettavat toisiaan limisauman sisäpuolella, eikä kuumia elementtejä koskettavissa pinnoissa. Tunnetuissa laitteissa käytetään niin ollen enennän lämpöä kohdissa, joissa sitä ei tarvita, jotta riittävä määrä virtaisi sulamisvychyk-keeseen. Tästä on seurauksena, että sauman ulkopuolella voi esiintyä huomattavaa muovin virtausta tai rypistymistä, mikä haittaa sauman ulkonäköä. Lisäksi pienissä muoviputkissa, joihin on tarkoitus painaa lääkechjainta, menetetään huomattavasti tilaa, koska muovin virtausalueille tehty painatus olisi epäselvä.
Esillä olevan keksinnön tarkoituksena on siksi saada aikaan laitteisto, jota voidaan säätää entistä helpommin sulatetun sauman leveyden suhteen, ja jolla saadaan aikaan tehokkaampi (nopeampi, kapeampi) kuumasaumattu sivusauma, parannetaan sauman ulkonäköä ja suurennetaan putken aluetta, johon voidaan painaa helposti luettavaa tekstiä.
Tämä aikaansaadaan keksinnön mukaisesti siten, että induktidkäämin vyyhti sinänsä tunnetulla tavalla ympäröi putkea, ja että tuuma ainakin tangon käsittävällä alueella en ei-rautapitoista ainetta.
Esillä olevan keksinnön säiliöön kuuluu ei-rautametallilehti. Se voi olla alumiinia tai kuparia tai muuta ei-rautametallia. Metallilehden eräänä tehtävänä on sisällän (esim. lääkkeen, elintarvikkeen, hammastahnan) suojaaminen hapettumiselta ja saastumiselta. Metallin reuna ei sen tähden saa olla kosketuksessa putken sisältämän aineen kanssa. Esillä olevan keksinnön eräänä tarkoituksena on varmistaa, että paljas metalli on tällaisissa käytöissä todellakin muovin peitossa tai siihen upotettuna.
Edullisia ovat sellaiset laitteet, joissa tuuman kumpaankin päähän on kiinnitetty rautapitoista ainetta olevat varrenpätkät.
Keksinnön mukaisesti laitteessa voi myös olla ohjausnauhat, jotka sijaitsevat putken saumakohdan kulmallakin puolella.
Edullinen on myös sellainen laite, jossa induktiokäämi on aseteltavissa siten, että metallikalvcn paljaina olevat reunat täysin peittyvät sulan muovin alle.
Keksintöä selitetään seuraavassa lähennän viittaamalla oheisiin piirustuksiin, joissa kuvio 1 esittää tasokuvantena nauhaa, jota taivutetaan putkeksi, kuvio 2 esittää leikkauksena taivutetun putken osaa kuviota 1 suurertrassa mittakaavassa ja limisaumaa, \ l 3 72060 kuvio 3 esittää perspektiivisesti keksinnön erästä edullista suori-tusrauotoa, kuvio 4 esittää yksityiskohtaisesti erästä tapaa, jolla limisauma voidaan puristaa kokoon ja putkea syöttää 1iitoshetkellä, kuvio,5 esittää sivukuvana limisauman yksityiskohtaa ja kaaviolli- sesti ja tyypillisesti, miten sulatettu liitos saadaan aikaan, kuvio 5A on kaaviokuva, joka esittää tyypillistä lämpögradienttia, ja kuvio 6 on yksityiskohtaa esittävä sivukuva, joka esittää valmiin sauman erästä suoritusmuotoa.
Piirustuksen kuviossa 1 päätön nauha 10, jota syötetään esittämättä jätetyltä rullalta, taivutetaan asteittain, niin että vastakkaiset päät 12 lähenevät toisiaan mahdollisesti limittyen, jolloin muodostuu putki 14. Kuviossa 2 on esitetty putken osa, jossa sivureunat peittävät toisena limittäin ennen sivusauman valmistusta.
Nauhan 10 muodostava aine koostuu laminaatista, johon kuuluu ei-rauta-metallilehti 16 (esim. alumiinia), kuvio 2, joka on ainakin toiselta puolelta eli saumapinnalta päällystetty kuumassa sulavalla aineella kuten esimerkiksi polyeteenillä 18. Useimpia käyttötarkoituksia varten ei-rautametallilehti 16 on kuitenkin päällystetty muovilla kummaltakin pinnalta, niin että myös putken ulkohalkaisijalla on toinen polyeteenimuovikerros 22. Nauhan uloimmilla ulkoreunoilla on paljasta, päällystämätöntä metallia.
Nauhan 10 vastakkaiset sivureunat 12 suunnataan toisiaan kohti tunnetulla tavalla esimerkiksi taittohihnan avulla, jota ei ole esitetty, koska tämä toimenpide on sinänsä tunnettu.
Kuviossa 3, joka esittää keksinnön erästä edullista suoritusmuotoa, putkimainen kappale 14, jossa on limittyvät reunat 12, viedään pitkittäin suurtaajuuskäämin 24 läpi, joka on kuparia ja vesijäähdytteinen ja joka kehittää induktiokentän, joka aiheuttaa metallilehteen pyörrevirtoja, joista on seurauksena rinnakkaisten muovipintojen lämpöpehmeneminen ja sulaminen sivusauman kohdalla.
Tässä tapahtuva lämpöilmiö on esitetty kaaviollisesti kuvioissa 5 ja 6. Kuviossa 5 varjostuksen tarkoituksena on esittää, että kuumin pinta sijaitsee lehden reuna-alueella ja pienenee ulospäin. Kuvio 5A esittää vastaavaa, tyypillistä lämpögradienttikaaviota. Tämä 72060 merkitsee sitä, että muovia sulattava lämpö on keskittynyt limittyviin kalvopintoihin ja niiden välissä olevaan muoviaineeseen 18-22. Metallilehden paljaat sivureunat E ovat erittäin kuumia ja kuumempia kuin niistä sisäänpäin oleva lehden osa, niin että muovi lämmön virtauksen aikana peittää metallilehden paljaat reunat E, kuten kuviossa 6 on esitetty. Tämä virtaus, joka peittää metallilehden reunat, voi olla ratkaisevan tärkeä, kun on kysymys putkesta, jota on tarkoitus käyttää sulavan tai sulamattoman sisällön, kuten hammastahnan, säiliönä, jolloin paljas metalli voi saastuttaa sisällön.
Jotta välittömästi saataisiin aikaan kapea sulatusliitos, jonka ansiosta putki voidaan syöttää suurella nopeudella induktiokäärnin 24 läpi, edullinen käytännön suoritusmuoto on sellainen, jossa induktio-kenttää on vahvistettu kuvion 3 mukaisesti tangolla 26, joka on ferriittiä tai samanarvoista ainetta ja joka on suunnattu kuumasauman akselin suuntaisesti. Ferriittitanko 26 on edullisesti sijoitettu vastaanottouraan, jonka muodostaa lieriömäinen ei-rautatuurna 28, jonka päälle edellä mainittu taittohihna syöttää limittyvän putken. Voidaan käyttää yhtä ainoaa ferriittikappaletta tai kaksi tai useampia lyhyitä tankoja voidaan sovittaa vastaanottouraan päittäin, kuten kuviossa 3 on esitetty.
Jotta saataisiin vieläkin tehokkaampi induktiokenttä, tukituurna 28 on edullisesti ei-rauta-ainetta, jolla on suuri magneettinen vastus, kuten kuparia tai epämetallia. Tuurnan 28 päät ulottuvat edullisesti magnetoitavan ferriittitangon 26 päiden ulkopuolelle, kuten kuviossa 3 on esitetty. Tuurnan päät on kiinnitetty ja tuettu lieriömäisiin terästappiakseleihin 29 ja 30, joiden tehtävänä on ohjata tuurnan päälle taitettavaa putkea ja tukea tuurnalta poistuvaa sivusaumattua putkea. Sovittamalla tuurnan päät ulkoneviksi kuvion 3 mukaisesti varmistetaan, etteivät terästappiakselit vääristä induktiokenttää.
Sivusaumattavaa putkea syöttää ja ohjaa pitkittäin tuurnan 28 päälle kaksi vastakkaista ohjaussyöttöhihnaa 32 ja 34, kuvio 4, joiden väliin putken limittyvät reunat sijoitetaan. Syöttöhihnassa 34 on paluuporras 34R. Kiinteä puristus- tai ohjaustönkkä 38 on sovitettu syöttöhihnan 32 yläpuolelle varmistamaan sivusauman limityksen säilyminen, ts. tönkkä 38 toimii yhdessä hihnojen 32 ja 34 kanssa ja varmistaa, ettei sivusauman limitys aukea. Itse asiassa tönkkää 38 käytetään edullisesti saamaan aikaan, että syöttöhihnat 32 ja 34

5 72060 puristavat tai prässäävät sivusaumaa, niin että vastakkaiset lämmön pehmittämät pinnat joutuvat läheiseen puristuskosketukseen sillä hetkellä, kun ne yhdistetään toisiinsa. Kuvion 4 välimatkaa on selvyyden vuoksi liioteltu.
Kuvion 1 hakanen ΛΒ esittää kuvioissa 3 ja 4 esitettyjen osien yleistä sijaintia.
Kun kuvion 3 yhteydessä selitettyä menetelmää toteutetaan, kuuma-sauman HS leveyttä, kuvio 1, voidaan helposti säätää pienimpään leveyteen asti. Kuten edellä todettiin, suurin lämpöteho vallitsee siis sauman sisäpinnalla eikä kuviossa 2 esitetyn paljaan muovin ulkopinnalla. Tämän ansiosta kuumasauman viereinen muovi rypistyy mahdollisimman vähän verrattuna aiempaan käytäntöön, jonka mukaan sauma on valmistettu suoraan kuumennettujen tuurnien avulla. Tämän ansiosta painatukseen tai koristeluun on käytettävissä enemmän ulkopintaa .
Vanteen paksuus voi olla vain n. 0,254-0,304 mm, jolloin voidaan käyttää n. 450 kilosyklin taajuutta. Metallilehden ei välttämättä tarvitse olla alumiinia, kunhan lehti vain on ei-rautametallia. Laminaattiin voi kuulua kaksi tai useampia sisälehtiä, joita erottaa muovi, ja laminaatissa voi myös olla paperiarkkiosa.
Jos metallilehti on rautametallia (esim. ruostumatonta teräslehteä), limireunoilla ei tapahdu tehokasta kuumennusta. Pikemminkin muovi pehmenee putken kehän osalla lukuunottamatta itse limikohtaa, jossa muovin juoksevuus ja sulaminen ovat kriittisiä.
Keksinnön periaatetta voitaisiin soveltaa pelkkään puskuliitokseen, koska muovin juoksevuus on ilmeinen metallin paljailla reunoilla, ja samoin sisä- eli taitesaumaan.
Riippumatta limisauman paksuudesta tehon määrää voidaan helposti säätää, niin että saadaan paras mahdollinen sauma. Tämä on erityisen tärkeää, kun laitteistoa käytetään nauhaan, jonka paksuus on suurempi tai pienempi verrattuna edelliseen tuotantoajon nauhaan, sillä nyt käytetään ainoastaan enemmän tai vähemmän sähkötehoa, mikä merkitsee pikasäätöä ilman viivytystä verrattuna aiempaan käytäntöön, jossa on käytetty suoraan kuumennettuja tuurnia ja jossa on täytynyt odottaa 6 72060 . tuurnien kuumenemista tai jäähtymistä kulloisenkin tilanteen mukaan.
Yhteenvetona todetaakoon sen tähden, että esillä olevaa menetelmää voidaan käyttää suuremmalla nopeudella erinomaisen kuumennustehon ansiosta, tuotteen ulkonäkö on entistä parempi, koska kuumasaumaus-nauha on kapeampi, induktiokenttää voidaan muuttaa hetkessä ja metallilehden reunat voidaan upottaa muoviin käyttämättä enemmän lämpöä kuin liitoksen aikaansaaminen vaatii.
