Claims (15)

1. Förfarande för selektiv vätske-vätske-extraktion av germanium frän en vattenhaltig sur lösning innehällande, förutom germanium, ätminstone en annan metall vald frän 5 gruppen omfattande kadmium, zink, kobolt, järn, arsen och nickel, kännetecknat därav, att förfarandet om-fattar: - extraktion av germanium frän nämnda vattenlösning genom att bringa lösning i kontakt med ett organiskt 10 medium, vilket innehäller ett utspädningsmedel och ett extraktionsmedel, vilket utspädningsmedel är icke-blandbart med vattenlösningen, och vilket extraktionsmedel väljs bland oxinderivat med en läng kolvätekedja, varvid extraktionsste-get bildar en vattenfas innehällande största delen av nämnda 15 ätminstone andra metall, och en organisk fas innehällande största delen av germaniumet frän vattenlösningen, och - avskiljning av germanium frän den nämnda organiska fasen genom att bringa nämnda fas i kontakt med ett vatten-haltigt medium, varvid avskiljningssteget bildar en vatten- 20 fas innehällande största delen av germaniumet frän den nämnda vattenlösningen och en organisk fas innehällande utspäd-ningsmedlet och extraktionsmedlet.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att den länga kolvätekedjan i extrak- 25 tionsmedlet innehäller 8-16 atomer och ätminstone en omättad etylen.
3. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknat därav, att extraktionsmedlet är β-dodekenyl- 8-hydroxikinolin. 30
4. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, känne tecknat därav, att före extraktionssteget vattenlös-ningens pH justeras tili ett värde under 2.
5. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 4, kännetecknat därav, att pH-justeringen innefattar till- 35 försel av svavelsyra.
