Claims (16)
1. Katalytisk elektrod innefattande ett elektriskt ledande substrat och en beläggning, som inbegriper minst en platina-gruppmetallkatalysator, som är finfördelat dispergerad i en polymermatris, kännetecknad av att katalysatorn är finfördelat dispergerad i en matris, som bestär av en halvledande olöslig polymer som bildats in situ genom värme-behandling pa substratet.
2. Elektrod enligt patentkravet 1, kännetecknad av att ett substratet bestär av en elektrokemisk ventilmetall.
3. Elektrod enligt patentkravet 2, kännetecknad av att substratet bestär väsentligen av titan.
4. Elektrod enligt patentkravet 1 , kännetecknad av att katalysatorn är en platinagruppmetalloxid som bildats in situ genom värmebehandling tillsammans med den halvledande, olösliga polymeren och dispergerats däri i finfördelad form genom anbringande av en beläggningslösning pä substratet, torkning och värmebehandling av substratet.
5. Förfarande för framställning av en elektrod med en beläggning, som inbegriper minst en elektrokatalysator, vilken inne-fattar en platinagruppmetall och är finfördelat dispergerad i en polymermatris som är anbringad pä ett elektriskt ledande substratet, kännetecknat av att man utför följande steg: a) pä substratet anbringas ett skikt av en lösning, som innehäller minst en löst platinagruppmetallförening, vilken kan omvandlas termiskt tili nämnda elektrokatalysator, och som innehäller ytterligare minst en utgängspolymer, vilken kan omvandlas termiskt tili en elektriskt ledande, olöslig polymer, vilken lösning anbringas successivt pä substratet i flera skikt, varvid vart och ett av skikten torkas innan nästa lösningsskikt anbringas; och b) de erhällna, torkade skikten utsätts för regierad värmebehandling, som utföres vid en temperatur mellan 250° och 800°C, innefattande minst ett upphettningssteg, som utföres i II 27 6 9 6 4 9 luft i ett temperaturomräde frän 250-600°C under 5-120 minuter, medan värmebehandlingen regleras sä, att nämnda förening omvandlas termiskt till elektrokatalysatorn, som innefattar en platinagruppmetall i form av en oxid eller i metallisk form, och sa att utgängspolymeren likaledes omvandlas termiskt till den olösliga ledande polymeren och därigenom ästadkommes en vidhäftande beläggning, som bestär av en enhetlig, fast blandning, väri elektrokatalysatorn är enhetlig och finfördelat dispergerad i en ledande polymermatris, som bestär av nämnda olösliga, ledande polymer som bildats in situ pä substratet och som är häftad tili detta.
6. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 5, kännetecknat av att en homogen lösning anbringas pä substratet.
7. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 5, kännetecknat av att substratet bestär av en elektrokemisk ventilmetall.
8. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 7,kännetecknat av att ventilmetallen är titan.
9. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 5, kännetecknat av att utgängspolymeren är polyakrylnitril.
10. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 5, kännetecknat av att utgängspolymeren är polybensimidazopyrrolon.
11. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 5,kännetecknat av att utgängspolymeren är en adamantanbaserad polybensoxazol.
12. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 5, kännetecknat av att värmebehandlingen utföres i minst tvä steg vid oiikä temperaturer.
13. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 12,kännetecknat av att en första värmebehandling utföres i luft i ett temperatur-omräde frän 250 tili 300° efter applicering och torkning av varje skikt, och att en ytterligare värmebehandling i ett temperatur-omräde frän 300 tili 800°C utföres efter applicering av det sista skiktet.
