Claims (10)

1. Förfarande för härdande av en glasskiva, vilket förfarande omfattar uppvärmande av en glasskiva medan den transporters tili böjningsformer till en minimiböjningstemperatur, vilken temperatur är sädan, att glasskivan e j är utsatt för deformering under denna uppvärmning eller böjning, tillslutande av böjnings-formarna mot skivan, vilka formar har samma temperatur som skivan, formarnas ut-dragande frän skivan och därefter uppvärmande av den böjda skivan före härdande av skivan genom kontaktande av dess ytor med ett kylmedium, känneteck- n a t därav, att den böjda glasskivan uppvärms utan mellankylning väsentligen enhetligt genom hela dess tjocklek tili en förkylningstemperatur, som är högre än den temperatur, vid vilken glaset böjs, men vid vilken temperatur skivan för-blir böjd.
2. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1, vid vilken temperatur glasskivan är en skiva av soda-kalkkiseldioxidglas, kännetecknat därav, att glasskivan uppvärms tili en kontinuerlig böjningstemperatur i omr&det 550-650°C och den böjda skivan uppvärms tili en högre temperatur i omrädet 620-720°C.

Förfarande enligt patentkravet 1 eller 2,kännet ecknat därav, att den böjda skivans framkant uppvärms tili en högre temperatur än bakkanten av skivan innan skivan bringas i kontakt med kylmediet. k. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 3,kännetecknat därav, att den böjda glasskivans hastighet genom uppvärmningszonen varieras sä, att den böjda skivans framkant befinner sig en längre tid i uppvärmningszonen än bakkanten av skivan.
5· Förfarande enligt patentkravet U, kännetecknat därav, att den böjda glasskivan nedsänkes i en uppvärmningszon med större djup än skivans höjd och skivan acceleras vid en pä förhand best&md tidpunkt dä Övre kanten av skivan kömmit in i uppvärmningszonen och dä hela skivan ännu är helt inne i uppvärmningszonen för att skivan skall komma tili en zon, där skivan kommer i kontakt med kylmediet.
6. Förfarande enligt patentkravet 5»kännetecknat därav, att skivan acceleras dä nedre kanten av skivan kommer tili bottnen av uppvärmningszonen.
7. Förfarande enligt patentkravet U,kännetecknat därav, att glasskivan sänks genom uppvärmningszonen med konstant acceleration.
8. Förfarande enligt nägot av patentkraven 3~7> kännetecknat därav, att framkanten av glasskivan uppvärms tili en temperatur som är 5-Uo°C varmare än bakkanten av skivan och sä att en väsentligen lineär temperaturgradient existerar frän skivans framkant tili dess bakkant.
