Claims (10)
1. Förfarande för att selektivt avlägsna svavelvä-te genom vätskeabsorption fran gas (3) som bildats vid 5 svartlutsavdunstning, vilken gas innehäller svavelväte liksom även koldioxid, kännetecknat av att gasen (3) bringas motströms i flerstegskontakt (6, 7, 8) med cirku- lerande karbonatinnehällande alkaliska lösningar (13, 14, 15) , vilkas pH under absorptionen har justerats i varje 10 zon till ett värde av ca 9 - 12 genom tillsättning av en hydroxid (26, 27, 28) sä att svavelvätet absorberas i form av vätesulfidjoner och sulfidjoner sä att den totala sul-fidhalten överstiger ca 0,30 mol/1 i den avgäende lösning-en, dä den är i kontakt med den inkommande gasen. 15
2. Förfarande enligt patentkrav 1, känneteck nat av att en alkalimetallhydroxid, företrädesvis nat-riumhydroxid, tillsätts.
