Abstract
In the continuous casting and rolling plant and associated control system proposed, the design of the individual plant elements is optimized with respect to their combined action and the individual plant elements operated in coordinated fashion to produce steel strip which is suitable for further processing. This coordination is preferably optimized using a neurofuzzy system.
