Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the crop loss of the steel plate, and to improve the yield of the product, by giving a reduction to the slab in the width direction in final several passes, on purpose to swell the both end portions of the rectangular section of the slab so as to be a specified thickness thicker than the middle portion, and then, by rolling this slab into the steel plate.
