Abstract

UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA PREPARACION DE UN PIGMENTO DE PARTICULAS DE TIO2 RUTILO. COMPRENDE: A) FORMAR UNA PASTA ACUOSA DE TIO2 RUTILO; B) CALENTAR LA PASTA HASTA 45-70JC; C) AGITARLA, AÑADIENDO UNA SAL CERICA EN CANTIDAD SUFICIENTE PARA PRODUCIR UNA CONCENTRACION DE ION CERIO DE 0,5 A 2% SOBRE EL PESO DE TIO2; D) INCORPORAR A LA PASTA CALIENTE AGITADA UNA CANTIDAD ESTEQUIOMETRICA DE ANIONES SULFATO, FOSFATO O SILICATO; E) PRECIPITAR ALUMINA SOBRE LAS PARTICULAS DE TIO2, AGREGANDO ALUMINATO SODICO SUFICIENTE HASTA ALCANZAR UNA CONCENTRACION DEL 2-8% SOBRE EL PESO DE TIO2; F) SEPARAR EL PIGMENTO RESULTANTE DEL LIQUIDO. ESTE PIGMENTO UTILIZADO EN LA FABRICACION DE UN ESTRATIFICADO DE PAPEL, CONFIERE A ESTE SOLIDEZ A LA LUZ ULTRAVIOLETA.
