COMPRENDE: A) DISPONER UNA MASA DE ALUMINIO FUNDIDO QUE CONTIENE PARTICULAS SUSPENDIDAS DE UN BORURO DE ALUMINIO; B) SEPARAR LAS PARTICULAS A PARTIR DE LA MASA DE METAL FUNDIDO FILTRANDO LA MASA DE ALUMINIO FUNDIDO QUE CONTIENE LAS PARTICULAS SUSPENDIDAS; Y C) RECUPERAR EL BORURO DE ALUMINIO EN FORMA SOLIDA DESDE EL FILTRO, DISOLVIENDO EL MEDIO DE FILTRO DE ALUMINA EN UN ACIDO EN CONDICIONES EN LAS QUE ES INSOLABLE EL BORURO DE ALUMINIO. EL MEDIO DE FILTRO ES UN MATERIAL REFRACTARIO NO ATACADO POR EL ALUMINIO FUNDIDO NI POR EL BORURO DE ALUMINIO, COMO ALUMINA Y CARBONO. EL MATERIAL REFRACTARIO SE SELECCIONA ENTRE LOS BORUROS NITRUROS DE METALES DE LOS GRUPOS IIIB, IVB, VB Y VIB.
