Abstract

The invention proposes an ignition system for internal combustion engines having a magnetic generator (10) which will be operated by a control transmitter without self-adjustment and scatter of the ignition time and with a low starting and idling speed. For this purpose, the control transmitter (30) contains an integrated amplifier circuit (38) with a Hall-effect element (37) as an IC chip (39) which interacts with a revolving part (40) of the rotor (13) of the magnetic generator (10) and, for the purpose of current supply, is connected directly to the magnetic generator (10). Such a control transmitter can be used both in transistor-type ignition systems and in capacitor-type ignition systems which have a magnetic generator for the supply of power (Figure 1).
