PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA FABRICACION DE HEPARINAS DE BAJO PESO MOLECULAR, POR DESPOLIMERIZACION DE LA HEPARINA NORMAL. COMPRENDE LAS SIGUIENTES FASES: A) ACIDIFICAR LA HEPARINA NORMAL MEDIANTE RESINA DE INTERCAMBIO IONICO PARA OBTENER ACIDO HEPARINICO CON UN PH COMPRENDIDO ENTRE 3 Y 5 Y B) DESPULIMERIZAR DICHO ACIDO HEPARINICO POR CALENTAMIENTO EN AUTOCLAVE, EN PRESENCIA DE UN AGENTE OXIDANTE TAL COMO PEROXIDO DE HIDROGENO, PARA OBTENER FRACCIONES DE HEPARINA DE BAJO PESO MOLECULAR EN UNA ESCALA DE 4.000 A 12.000 DALTON. PRESENTA APLICACIONES FARMACOLOGICAS POR SU ACTIVIDAD ANTITROMBOLICA CON RESPECTO A LA ACTIVIDAD ANTICOAGULANTE.
